The Blumenthal's tell you much about Hillary and the Democrat Party's anti Israel pro Palestinian affection

Emails Show Blumenthal Pushed Son’s Anti-Israel Activism On Hillary

The State Department’s August email dump of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton included numerous communications with close confidante Sid Blumenthal, who often passed along his son Max’s anti-Israel articles.
The older Blumenthal, who served in the Clinton White House as a close political aide to the president and first lady, sent Clinton, in December 2010, an article his son wrote about “Islamophobia” in the Republican Party, the tea party, and the “Islamophobic crusade” from the “pro-Israel lobby.” (Email 1 , Email 2)
Max attacked a number of individuals and groups for their financial or political support of Israel as well as excoriated them for their criticism of radical Islamic terrorism.

In response to a tweet from The Daily Caller’s Jamie Weinstein asking the younger Blumenthal if he was an “informal adviser” to Clinton, Blumenthal responded, “I warned her about the danger of #JSIL. She didn’t listen.”
The JSIL (The Jewish State of Israel in the Levant) hashtag on Twitter is the creation of Max and fellow anti-Israel writer, Rania Khalek. The hashtag is meant to compare Israel to the terrorist organization ISIL.
In June 2010, Sid sent Clinton a piece Max wrote about the Gaza-bound flotilla carrying pro-Palestinian activists, which ended in a deadly raid by Israeli commandos after the flotilla refused to turn around when it attempted to break through Israel’s coastal territory.
The incident remains in dispute to this day. In his piece, Max claims that Israel provided no proof the flotilla passengers had terrorist connections and Israeli media was playing along with whatever the Israel Defense Forces told them.
Sid sent Clinton another Max article that attacked Israel over the flotilla incident in June 2010. The piece is titled, “The Flotilla Raid Was Not ‘Bungled.’ The IDF Detailed Its Violent Strategy In Advance.”
A few months later in August, Sid sent Clinton an email with Max’s piece that described Israeli teenagers who spent their summer demolishing Palestinian structures in the Bedouin village of Al-Arakib. Max calls it the “Summer Camp Of Destruction.”
By September 2010, Sid sent Clinton the preface to his son’s book “Days of rage: the tea party & America’s right.” The older Blumenthal previously sent an email to Clinton a month earlier telling her about his son’s new epilogue to the paperback edition of his previous book “Republican Gomorrah: The Right’s Days of Rage.”
Sid sent Clinton a November 2010 email with a piece Max writes that is critical of Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders. Max described Wilders as “far right” and “whose agenda is comprised exclusively of xenophobic populism.”
He noted that while sitting on a panel at Tilburg University he responded to a question about American media, corporations, and elections:
“Riemen asked me if the United States was a democracy given the rapidly rising influence of corporations over the media and elections. After two panelists had described Israel as a vibrant democracy while another labeled Italy a non-democratic quasi-dictatorship, I decided that our definition of democracy was subjective at best. So I sidestepped the question and outlined a few of the greatest blows to American democracy, from the elimination of the Fairness Doctrine to the Telecommunications Deregulation Act to the Citizens United SCOTUS decision.”

A little history about the vile Blumenthal's father and son:

Clinton Adviser Sid Blumenthal’s New Cause: His Son’s Anti-Israel Book

WASHINGTON — A veteran confidant of Hillary Clinton has waded into a bitter argument over the explosive topic of Israel, defending his son’s intensely anti-Israel book from a liberal critic.
Sidney Blumenthal, a former New Yorker writer turned Clinton adviser from the White House to the 2008 campaign, has been waging an online campaign against Nationcolumnist Eric Alterman for negatively reviewing his son Max Blumenthal’s book, Goliath. The book was described by Alterman, himself a frequent critic of Israel, as “awful” and something that “could have been published by the Hamas Book-of-the-Month Club (if it existed).”
Clinton Foundation officials refused to respond to questions of whether the elder Blumenthal is currently on a Clinton payroll.
His son’s book has received little attention in the mainstream press but has proved extremely controversial in the corners of the Internet devoted to debate over Israel; its repeated comparisons of Israeli Jews to Nazis have particularly inflamed several commentators. The author is a prominent figure on the hard left of the Israel debate who has argued in the past that the “non-indigenous” majority of Israelis should not remain in the country now known as Israel. The book was released under the Nation Books imprint and an excerpt of it ran in The Nation.
In a follow-up blog post after the initial review, Alterman wrote that he had become the target of emails sent around by Blumenthal to friends and associates as a result of his review of the book.
“I attribute to these friendly relations the fact that until now, Sid Blumenthal had not seen fit to make me the object of any of the unflattering e-mails he so often sends around to journalists and others — myself included — about individuals of whom he disapproves,” Alterman wrote. “Privately, I worried that by telling the truth about his son’s book, I would soon hear of nasty e-mails about me sent by Sid to our mutual friends and professional acquaintances. Call it ‘bizarre,’ if you will, but sadly, that’s just what happened.”
BuzzFeed obtained one of the Blumenthal emails from a source; it features a copied-and-pasted article from the anti-Zionist blog Mondoweiss, sent with the subject line “Fact-checking Eric Alterman on ‘Goliath.’” The article in question, by writer Phan Nguyen, calls on The Nation to retract Alterman’s review, describes Alterman as an “unreliable narrator,” and states that he has “undermined his self-proclaimed status as a conscientious critic of the Israeli occupation.”
Mondoweiss is edited by former New York Observer writer Philip Weiss, who has carved out a niche in making an allegation that is, for most American critics of Israel, beyond the pale, the charge of undue Jewish influence on American foreign policy.
Alterman declined to provide any of the emails in question to BuzzFeed, saying that he does not share private emails. It is unclear how many of them were sent; Alterman declined to comment on the number or specific content of the emails.
Blumenthal’s list is a longstanding feature of the elite media landscape, a mix of liberal journalists, academics, and former Clinton administration officials, and has intermittently been the subject of controversy.
“The thing about Sidney is that he’s absolutely obsessed with his enemies and his way of communicating and dealing with his obsession is that he sends out emails to this very elite list of liberal journalists mostly,” said one source who has been on Blumenthal’s list.
The list has “ended friendships” at its most contentious moments, the source said, including an incident during the 2008 campaign when Blumenthal was accused of sending a photo of Barack Obama in African garb — an image that Matt Drudge promptly posted alongside the charge that it had come from Clinton’s campaign.
Blumenthal did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Blumenthal’s current role in the Clinton universe is unclear. In the bio on his author page on the Atlantic’s website, he is described as an “adviser” to the Clinton Foundation, Bill and Hillary Clinton’s non-profit. Several phone calls and emails to the Clinton Foundation seeking clarification on Blumenthal’s role in the organization went unanswered. A BuzzFeed reporter who went to the Clinton Foundation’s offices in New York on Tuesday seeking the organization’s most recent IRS 990 form was turned away.
“We don’t know what you’re referring to,” said Clinton Foundation spokesperson Nick Merill when asked about the emails and whether Hillary Clinton is aware of Blumenthal’s defense of Goliath. He copied Clinton spokespeople Philippe Reines and Matt McKenna on his response to BuzzFeed, as well as Sidney Blumenthal.
Blumenthal has been a divisive figure in the Clintons’ circle since the 1990s, a trusted counselor seen by some of his colleagues and rivals as a source of paranoia. He came close to being appointed to a job in the State Department during Obama’s first term before then-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel nixed the appointment based on Blumenthal’s role in formulating negative attacks on Obama during the 2008 primaries. Sources familiar with the Clinton world say he’s become an increasingly marginal figure in recent years, though still talks to Hillary Clinton.
Emails alleged to be from Blumenthal that were made public earlier this year suggest that he was in communication with Clinton on matters relating to Benghazi and other national security issues this year.
The latest flap comes as the Clintons gird for another political campaign, and as their circle maneuvers for advantage.
“Do you think Chelsea went and cleaned up the operation at the Foundation only to have those kinds of people slip back in to the operation? And that was before Sid was going around defending a book comparing Israel to Nazis that his kid wrote,” said a Washington Democrat who has worked for both Clintons. “Given the lessons of Hillary 2008, people would be aghast to see him around for 2016.”
Reached for comment on the email flap, Alterman said he understood why Blumenthal would want to defend his son’s book.
“I actually feel for Sid,” Alterman said. “Leaving aside the quality of Max’s journalism, it has to be painful for any Jew to see your own kid going around calling Jews ‘Nazis’ and ‘fascists,’ and insisting that not only should Israel be destroyed, but its Jewish population should be kicked out.”
This story originally misstated the kind of dress of the photo of Obama sent to Drudge in the 2008 campaign. Because of an editing error, it also did not make clear that the leaked photo story is an allegation, on which Blumenthal has not commented. The story also misstated the exact wording of a Max Blumenthal quote from an appearance in October. He said that “the maintenance and engineering of a non-indigenous demographic majority is non-negotiable.”

The incredibly insane racist intolerant Democrats.

The couple were strangled to death in their second floor flat, allegedly by Mamadou Kamara
Mamadou Kamara has been arrested in connection with the murders
Italy’s simmering anti-immigrant sentiment has been stoked by the murder of an elderly couple in their home in Sicily, allegedly by an African asylum seeker.
Mamadou Kamara, an 18-year-old from the Ivory Coast, allegedly slit the throat of Vincenzo Solano, 68, and then attacked his Spanish-born wife, Mercedes Ibanez, 70.
Ms Ibanez fell to her death from a second-floor balcony, during a robbery that turned violent.
Mr Kamara is one of thousands of migrants and refugees living at a vast reception centre at nearby Mineo, in south-eastern Sicily.
They are accommodated there after arriving by boat from Libya, and wait sometimes for months to have their asylum applications assessed.
The migrants are allowed to come and go freely from the facility, a former US military base where prostitution, links with organised crime and the trade in illicit goods is said to be rife.
Mr Kamara, who was rescued in the Mediterranean on June 8 and brought with other migrants to the port of Catania in Sicily, allegedly broke into the pensioners’ flat in the village of Palagonia, six miles away, and slit the throat of Mr Solano.
The elderly man’s wife was found dead in the courtyard of their three-storey apartment block. Investigators believe she may have fallen over the balcony in panic after trying to flee the attacker.
Mr Kamara was arrested after police searched his bag on Sunday as he returned to the migrant centre.
Inside they found a mobile telephone, a laptop computer, a video camera and a pair of trousers, allegedly belonging to Mr Solano, that were covered in blood.
The young African man claimed to have “found” the items, but police arrested him and are expected to charge him with two counts of murder.
Forensic police worked into the early hours of Monday gathering evidence at the elderly couple's flat.
Sebastian Maccarrone, the director of the Mineo migrant centre, said: "If it was him, it is a tragedy within a tragedy - for the people killed, and for integration. We are all shocked. I have spoken with many migrants and they all want to disassociate themselves from what happened.
"For each small step we have taken forward in terms of integration, this has put us 10 steps backwards."
The trousers were identified as belonging to Mr Solano by one of his daughters, who was contacted by police.
The pensioner had retired back to his native Sicily a decade ago after working for years in a Mercedes car factory in Germany. Detectives believe that other migrants may have been involved in the burglary.
More than 100,000 refugees have arrived by boat in Italy this year, making the crossing from Libya in overcrowded rubber dinghies and leaky fishing boats. Last year, a record 170,000 arrived on Italian shores.
Patience is wearing thin among many Italians, with some of the country’s 20 regions refusing to accommodate any more migrants and centre-Right parties accusing the centre-Left government of Matteo Renzi, the prime minister, of having lost control of the country’s borders.
“Italians fear for their lives inside their own homes,” said Gianluca Buonanno, an MEP with the Northern League, a staunchly anti-immigrant party of the Right.
“This is Renzi’s national security strategy. What kind of country are we living in?”
Giorgia Meloni, another centre-Right politician and a close ally of Silvio Berlusconi, the former prime minister, said: “The instigator of the murder of these two innocents is the Italian state, which is responsible for having kept open a facility ... which we said should be closed down.”
"The murdered couple had returned from living in Germany to enjoy their retirement in Sicily,” a relative told La Stampa newspaper. "They shouldn’t have died like this, slaughtered like goats."

The 5ft-long scorpion that terrorised the seas 460 million years ago: Fossils of giant predator with 'paddles' found in Iowa

  • More than 150 fossil fragments of the new species were excavated
  • Some large body segments suggest a total length of 5.5 ft (1.7 metres)
  • Ancient sea scorpion has been named after the Greek warship penteconter
  • It additionally had 'paddle-style' legs and front limbs used to catch prey

The 'fantastically preserved' fossils of the largest and oldest species of sea scorpion ever found have been unearthed in Iowa.
Dating back 460 million years, the eurypterid species would have measured more than 5ft (1.5 metres) long and had unique 'paddle-shaped' legs to help it swim and dig.
Its bizarre shape resembles that of the Greek warship penteconter, and the species has been described as 'Pentecopterus decorahensis'.

Eurypterids were extinct monster-like predators that swam the seas in ancient times and are related to modern arachnids.
Lead author James Lamsdell from Yale University said: 'The new species is incredibly bizarre.
'The shape of the paddle - the leg which it would use to swim - is unique, as is the shape of the head. It's also big - over a metre and a half long!'

LOBSTER AS TALL AS USAIN BOLT

Researchers recently discovered fossils from a filter-feeding 'lobster' that would have been as big as a human.
Called Aegirocassis benmoulae, the 6.5ft (two-metre) prehistoric creature belonged to the family of anomalocaridids that were the early ancestors of modern crustaceans, and spiders.
Like modern-day whales, it filtered seawater to trap tiny particles of food, using spine-covered 'limbs' on its head.
Fossils also show that Aegirocassis had pairs of swimming flaps along its body.
These were likely to be precursors of the unique double-branched appendages seen in modern crustaceans.
He added: 'Perhaps most surprising is the fantastic way it is preserved.
'The exoskeleton is compressed on the rock but can be peeled off and studied under a microscope.
'This shows an amazing amount of detail, such as the patterns of small hairs on the legs.
'At times it seems like you are studying the shed skin of a modern animal, an incredibly exciting opportunity for any paleontologist.'
More than 150 fossil fragments of the new eurypterid species were excavated from the upper layer of the Winneshiek Shale in northeastern Iowa.
The location is an 89ft (27-metre thick) sandy shale located within an ancient meteorite impact crater and mostly submerged by the Upper Iowa River.
Some large body segments suggest a total length of up to 5.5 ft (1.7 metres), making Pentecopterus the largest known eurypterid from its era.

Pentecopterus is also around 460 million years old, making it ten million years older than the previous oldest record of the eurypterid group.
Due to the preservation of the fossils, the researchers were able to interpret the functions of certain body parts.
The rearmost limbs, for example, include a paddle with a large surface area, and joints that appear to be locked in place to reduce flex.

This suggests that Pentecopterus used these paddles to either swim or dig.
The second and third pairs of limbs may have been angled forward, suggesting they were involved primarily in prey capture rather than locomotion.
The three rearmost pairs of limbs are shorter than the front pairs, suggesting that Pentecopterus may have walked on six legs rather than eight.
Meanwhile, finer structures such as scales, follicles and setae, or stiff bristles, were also distinguishable.
In particular, the dense setae found on the rearmost limbs form arrangements that are similar to those seen on swimming crabs.
They function to expand the surface area of the paddle during swimming, but the smaller follicle size in eurypterids suggests that the setae could have also had a sensory function.
Spines are also present on some limbs and appear similar to those found on horseshoe crabs where they aid in processing food.
The fossil and findings are published in the journal BMC Evolutionary Biology.
