Liberal feminists have no understanding of moral people. Funny, did you ever hear them complain about the way Sharia Muslims treat women?

Vice President Mike Pence probably wasn’t expecting to receive backlash when the Washington Post published a profile Tuesday on his wife, Karen. The piece detailed the couple’s relationship and included a statement Pence made in 2002 saying he didn’t go out to dinner with another woman without his wife being present and that he didn’t attend events serving alcohol unless his wife joined him.
Though this honorable and respectful practice can logically be seen as refreshing in today’s society, which has divorce rates as high as 50 percent nationwide, liberals around the country and even in Canada are attacking Pence for the dynamic of his relationship.
Friday morning, the liberal “news explainer” website, Vox.com, published a story called “Vice President Pence’s ‘never dine alone with a woman’ rule isn’t honorable. It’s probably illegal.” The author, Joanna Grossman, argued that Pence’s practice is illegal “sex discrimination” under Title VII with regard to employment law and a boss-employee relationship.
“[T]he practice described by Pence in that 2002 interview is clearly illegal when practiced by a boss in an employment setting, and deeply damaging to women’s employment opportunities,” Grossman wrote.
“By law, working dinners with the boss could be considered an opportunity to which both sexes must have equal access,” she continued. “Employers are not permitted to classify employees on the basis of gender without proof that sex is a bona fide occupational qualification for a particular job. A Pence-type rule could never satisfy this test.”
Notably, the Vox.com article did not offer in support of their position a single instance of a court ruling that a rule like Pence’s constituted sex discrimination, in any jurisdiction. In fact, the only court ruling mentioned by Vox.com was an Iowa supreme Court ruling, which held that an employer’s decision to actually terminate a female employee because of the employer’s wife’s jealousy was not sex discrimination under the law.
Vox harshly criticized this ruling as “absurd” but offered no legal precedent that would suggest that their bizarre reading of Title VII has been upheld by any court, or by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Not to be outdone, Ashley Csanady of the Vancouver National Post actually wrote, apparently with a straight face, that Pence’s care to avoid the appearance of impropriety with respect to his wife constituted an element of “rape culture.”
Csanady contended that while she believes the term “rape culture” is widely overused in today’s society, it is entirely applicable in this case.
” ‘Rape culture’ is a phrase so overused, it’s become almost meaningless, like calling someone a Nazi on the internet. But it has a very clear meaning: the notion, whether conscious or unconscious, that men can’t control themselves around women because ‘boys will be boys,’ ” Csanady wrote.
“The explicit reasons for Pence’s restriction are religion and family, but the implicit reason is that he must avoid alone-time with women lest his stringent religious moral code fall apart in the presence of a little lipstick and décolletage. That is rape culture,” she wrote.
She ended the opinion piece in high dramatic fashion, attempting to connect dots with no real evidence other than her own assumptions.
“So, while Pence’s marriage is none of our business, his attitudes towards women are,” she concluded. “And if, in 2017, he believes they remain such fallen, lascivious things that he can’t possibly be in a room alone with them, it says less about his faith and more the fact he sees women as lesser beings.”
After the outrage extended to President Donald Trump for his derogatory comments about grabbing women by the genitals, it is difficult to understand how liberals can muster the same outrage toward Pence for saying virtually the exact opposite.

VA keeping violent criminals on the payroll, even after they reoffend

According to the Daily Caller, the Department of Veterans Affairs  in Alaska held open an accountant position for a man who was serving time in prison for committing murder. On top of that, the VA of hired a convicted child molester, whom they kept on the payroll as a “health aide” while he repeatedly offended.
Kevin Kenja Campbell, the health aide, pleaded guilty to felony sexual abuse of a minor in 2002, according to court records reviewed by The DCNF. He was later hired at the Anchorage, Alaska, VA. Multiple employees of the hospital said he was subsequently arrested for stabbing a man with a bottle while skipping work, and that the department kept him on the payroll while he went back to jail.
Court records show that Campbell has an extended rap sheet, having been charged with harassment and family violence in 2001, assault and DUI in 2004, failing to register as a sex offender in 2005, an alcohol offense in 2009, and charged again with family violence and a DUI in 2013.
It doesn’t stop there. Campbell continued committing felonious crimes well into 2015. Oddly enough, his paychecks from the VA continued through to that year as well.
In January 2015, he was charged with family violence yet again for assault in the presence of a child, and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. In February 2015, he was charged with felony assault, drug possession, and failure to register as a sex offender. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in 2016 to resolve that case.
Campbell could not be reached for comment. VA spokesman Randy Noller refused to provide the dates of Campbell’s employment, but said he is not a current employee. Federal pay records show he drew a salary between at least the years 2010 through 2015.
While Campbell is presently off the payroll, convicted killer Michael N. Alvin is still on the government payroll, working as the head accountant at one federal hospital in Alaska that held his job open for him while he was serving time in prison for hitting a man while driving drunk, and then driving away. The 1996 incident saw Alvin charged with manslaughter, but a plea deal bumped it down to criminally negligent homicide. He was released just four years later in 2000.
Local VA union president at the time, Kevin McGee, admits that he had intervened on behalf of Alvin at the time, telling the Daily Caller, “I said give him a chance, why not?”
“He’s as arrogant about it as anyone I’ve ever met. Not ashamed that he killed a guy,” an employee said of Alvin.
Alvin didn’t just keep his accounting job, however.
In addition to working as an accountant for the Anchorage VA, Alvin served as vice president of the local American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) union and also operated a side firm that did the union’s taxes. The union was faulted for tax problems and its president, McGee, was convicted of fraud. But the VA did not fire McGee.
The VA employs numerous criminals, including kidnappers, rapists, and child molesters. This includes Fredrick Kevin Harris, who continued to receive paychecks behind bars as he awaited manslaughter charges for an elderly veteran he had beaten to death.

In a fairly contentious exchange on CNBC Friday, “Squawk Box” co-host Joe Kernan forced the Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez to face up to the impropriety done on Hillary’s behalf in the Democratic primary election when he tried to paper over it.
“Do you think Bernie Sanders should have been the nominee? Would that have been better? Would he have won?”
“Listen, I focus on the future,” Perez responded. “What we know now is that the involvement of the Russians in the United States election, the involvement of the Russians and potentially the Trump administration..”
“I was just talking about whether you’re gonna change anything,” Kernan demanded, interrupting, “is it still superdelegates, will it be done that way from now on with the DNC, can you pick the nominee instead of, why go through the primary process?”
“The American voters are going to pick the next nominee,” Perez added, “and we have a unity commission that is…”
“They didn’t last time, did they?” Kernan pushed, interrupting again.
“Oh, c’mon,” Perez objected, “the American voters picked the nominee in the primary…”
“That’s why your last chairman had to leave!” Kernan interjected.

Kernan was assailing the DNC chairman over the leaked emails that showed the DNC appeared to be putting their thumb on the scale in order to secure Hillary Clinton the nomination over socialist upstart Bernie Sanders. As a candidate, Trump bashed the Democrats constantly over the debate question that Donna Brazile, the DNC interim chair before Perez, has since admitted she passed to Clinton to give her an edge.
This was part of the reason Trump said the election was “rigged,” before he won the election in a surprise to most pundits who believed Hillary Clinton would easily win.
Trump Jumps Into DNC Email Controversy

Donna Brazile was replaced by Tom Perez, but was beset by questions about the CNN debate she helped Hillary compete in.
Trump has quieted down on these claims of a rigged election, while Democrats are now demanding investigations into the alleged meddling of Russia that they say might have flipped the election to Trump.

From a comment to this piece that is spot on:

Howard Dean…Tim Kaine…Debbie Wasserman-Schultz…Donna Brazile…and now this half-wit. Most people don’t even realize that full-blown lunatic Keith Ellison (who nearly won this ”position”) was supported heavily by Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, John Lewis, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer. Talk about a band of escaped thieves and psychopaths. Ellison winning would have been beautiful, as the party would have certainly imploded within a year or two. We can still hope and pray that’s the case.

No names always a clue....

Columbus police say the injured 23-year-old woman was hospitalized in stable condition with a chest wound after the Thursday afternoon shooting.
Deputy Chief Thomas Quinlan tells The Columbus Dispatch the women had “bad blood” between them before they had an unexpected encounter at a PINK store, part of the corporate family that includes Victoria’s Secret. The shooting occurred in an upstairs room of the store at the popular Easton Town Center shopping area, which prohibits firearms.
Police say the 22-year-old woman who fired was jailed on a felonious assault charge.

What the Columbia Dispatch left out of the article because of the scourge of political correctness. Without who, the where and when becomes fake news:

Perez: ‘Trump Didn’t Win The Election’ — Republicans ‘Don’t Give A S**t About People’ [VIDEO]

Newly elected Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez campaigned for Democrats in Newark, New Jersey Friday by telling a crowd the Republican Party doesn’t “give a shit” about them.
Perez, speaking at a rally hosted by the New Jersey Working Families Alliance, first congratulated protesters on showing up in droves to Washington, DC on January 21, the day after President Trump’s inauguration.
WATCH:

Perez claimed those people gathered and proclaimed, “Donald Trump, you don’t stand for our values… Donald Trump you didn’t win the election.”
Later in his speech, President Obama’s secretary of labor added that he doesn’t “care” if people take issue with his speech, just like how “Republicans don’t give a shit about people.”

Professor protests dumbing down course to raise students’ grades. Here’s what happens to him next.
A former adjunct professor at Colorado's Community College of Aurora claimed he was fired for criticizing the school's push to alter courses so that students would receive higher grades. (Image source: YouTube screen cap)

Nathanial Bork first began at Colorado’s Community College of Aurora as an adjunct professor in 2010.
He went on to become a leader and advocate for adjuncts — as well as a critic of the school’s Gateway to Success initiative, which he said altered entry-level liberal arts courses so that students’ grades could improve, according to a report by the American Association of University Professors.
In a written critique he intended to send to the Higher Learning Commission, Bork detailed how his Philosophy 111 course last fall was supposed to change via the Gateway to Success: a 20 percent decrease in overall course content; a reduction in writing assignments to an eight-page maximum for the semester; small group activities every other class session; and the inclusion of a larger percentage of material (the reported goal was 30 percent) produced by women and minorities, the AAUP report said.
Bork contended that a “success rate” of 80 percent “for all student groups, as defined by race and gender” was the Gateway to Success goal, the report said. And while such a move could make things look better grade-wise, Bork said it sold students short.
“Simply put, this class is now much, much easier to get an A in or pass than it was previously,” Bork wrote in his critique, the AAUP said. “It’s now so much easier that currently every single student on my roster has an A+, and to my recollection the last time I was involved in a course set to this difficulty level, either as a teacher or a student, was early high school.”
Bork continued:
If the people we’re giving A+s to in the [guaranteed transfer] courses are only doing the equivalent of high school work at other colleges, I believe that sets up our students for harm later on. Our student success rates will spike through the roof, but we’ll be graduating people who think they’ve received a college education, but in reality have only done high school level work. … And the harm from what I see as lack of rigor will become evident after they’ve left CCA and are forced to compete with their peers from other schools.
But before Bork sent his critique to the Higher Learning Commission, he said he circulated a draft to administrators at Community College of Aurora — including the college president — for their feedback on Sept. 7, 2016. Two days later, Bork was observed in his Philosophy 111 course for the purpose of evaluation.
Then, on Sept. 14, Bork was fired, the AAUP report said — after six years of consistently strong job-performance evaluations. The AAUP said that the timeline of events “raises the question of retaliation.”
More from the AAUP report:
While it is impossible to say with absolute certainty that Mr. Bork’s dismissal was an act of retaliation by the CCA administration, we can say with certainty that the timeline of events is suggestive, the circumstances of the dismissal are extraordinary, and the administration’s stated rationale is unconvincing. Moreover, even if the administration were not engaging in retaliation against Mr. Bork, its actions have convinced many faculty members that it was. The climate of fear among CCA faculty in the wake of this event is such that, with the exception of those who were present at the group meeting that included [college] President [Elizabeth] Oudenhoven and other administrators, the majority of those with whom we spoke — off campus, we hasten to note — asked to remain anonymous.
To wit: An AAUP investigative committee said several current and former Community College of Aurora faculty members claimed the administration told them last summer if they didn’t implement the new Gateway to Success curriculum, “they should seek employment elsewhere,” the report said.
In addition, faculty indicated that “presentations” were conducted where retention-related data was shared and the following was reportedly declared, “There aren’t enough people passing; we need to get more people passing,” the AAUP report said.
The AAUP concluded the college fired Bork “without affordance of academic due process” and called his claim “credible” that it did so in retaliation for his intention to send a critique of the Gateway to Success initiative to the Higher Learning Commission last fall.
The Community College of Aurora has denied Bork was fired in the middle of the semester for the reason he claimed; rather it was for a “lack of effectiveness in implementing the philosophy curriculum redesign,” the AAUP report said.
The AAUP report added that President Oudenhoven denied receiving “a report or letter from Mr. Bork to the HLC. . . The academic vice president received an email from him on September 7, 2016, but I was not copied on that email. As far as we know, there is no report. We were not concerned about him sharing his issues with the HLC in whatever way he chose to do so and dispute the charge of retaliation throughout the report.”
Greg Scholtz, director of tenure, academic freedom and governance at AAUP, told Inside Higher Ed that adjunct professors typically serve on an at-will basis, which makes them “entirely disposable.”
“If their administrative superiors are not satisfied with their service, for any reason, they simply do not offer them any course assignments for the next academic term, and there’s usually nothing the part-timer can do about it,” Scholtz told the outlet.
And while Bork’s mid-semester dismissal isn’t unprecedented at Community College of Aurora, administrators told the AAUP investigators it’s nevertheless “very rare and reserved for only the most egregious cases of instructional deficiency or misconduct.”
