MSNBC and CNN Suggest Trump Was Never at Ground Zero after 9/11 Attacks; Videos Prove Otherwise

On Monday, when President Trump signed the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund extension, he told a story of being at Ground Zero after the 9/11 terror attacks, that immediately got unhinged liberals coming out of the woodwork to claim he was lying. Kyle Griffin, a producer at MSNBC, actually claimed there was no evidence Trump was ever at Ground Zero after 9/11:
CNN's Chris Cillizza also strongly implied Trump was lying:
Others in the media quickly piled on, challenging Trump's claim. The New York Times even fact-checked his claim, citing a retired NYFD deputy chief who said Trump was never at Ground Zero. Business Insider ran a story with the headline, "Trump said he was 'down there' at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks, but there's no evidence he was ever closer than a few blocks away." In more than one interview conducted in the days after the attack, Trump told of crews he had been helping in recovery efforts, and here's one clip that shows, definitively, Trump was at Ground Zero after the attacks.
So, there is tangible proof he was there, and there are other similar videos from other outlets as well.

Companies that develop drugs will have to go to the Health and Human Services Department (HHS) to be told what they’ll be allowed to charge for their products if Joe Biden is elected president, the former vice president declared Wednesday during the Democrat presidential debate.
Biden made the claim while defending his health care plan against the charge that it would not cover everyone in America, adding that his administration would also dictate any price increases:
“My plan does cover everyone, number one. Number two, the fact is that my plan also calls for controlling drug prices. The biopharma is now where things are going to go. It’s no longer chemicals.
“It's about all the breakthroughs we have with the whole -- excuse me, immune system.
“And, what we have to do now is we have to have a form that sits in the HHS and says: as you develop a drug, you got to come to us and decide what you can sell it for.
“We will set the price. And, secondly, it says that you cannot raise that price beyond the cost of inflation from this point on.”

We previously outlined Mr. Zhongtian Liu [HERE] as part of the early 2018 explanation for how China was exploiting the NAFTA loophole as an end-run around tariffs.  Today the Central District of California U.S. Attorney announces his indictment.
LOS ANGELES– A federal grand jury indictment unsealed late Tuesday alleges a complex financial fraud scheme in which a Chinese company exported to the United States huge amounts of aluminum – disguised as “pallets” to avoid customs duties of up to 400 percent – and “sold” the purported pallets to related entities to fraudulently inflate the company’s revenues and deceive investors around the world.
The 53-page indictment alleges that China Zhongwang Holdings Limited, Asia’s largest aluminum extrusion company; Zhongtian Liu, the company’s former president and chairman; and several individual and corporate co-defendants lied to U.S. Customs and Border Protection to avoid paying the United States $1.8 billion in anti-dumping and countervailing duties (AD/CVD) that were imposed in 2011 on certain types of extruded aluminum imported into the United States from China.
The aluminum sold to United States-based companies controlled by Liu were simply aluminum extrusions that were spot-welded together to make them appear to be functional pallets, which would be finished goods not subject to the duties, according to the indictment. In reality, there were no customers for the 2.2 million pallets imported by the Liu-controlled companies between 2011 and 2014, and no pallets were ever sold. (read more)

The Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela is stepping up the operations of “death squads” aimed at eliminating all opposition to the socialist regime, El Mundo detailed in a report on Wednesday.

At a military ceremony in 2017, dictator Nicolás Maduro launched a new security unit known as the Special Action Forces (FAES), which he declared would “join the fight against crime, against terrorism and against right-wing terrorist groups.” Since their formation, 641 members of the FAES have begun terrorizing those suspected of vehement opposition of the regime, carrying out thousands of extrajudicial killings and other human rights abuses, El Mundo, a Spanish newspaper, revealed.
In her recent report on human rights abuses carried out by the Maduro regime, U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet provided detailed evidence of the group’s modus operandi: traveling around in black pickup trucks, dressed in black with balaclavas and carrying long weapons.
“They would also carry long weapons. Families of the victims described FAES breaking into their houses, taking their belongings, and exercising gender-based violence against women and girls, including forced nudity,” the report details. “They would separate young men from other family members before shooting them. According to their relatives, almost all of the victims had one or more shots in the chest.”
The report, largely based on conversations with human rights observers and witness testimony, added that the FAES was responsible for thousands of extrajudicial killings since its formation two years ago. According to the Venezuelan Observatory of Violence (OVV), at least 7,523 died as a result of resistance to authority in 2018 alone.
“Thousands of people, mainly young men, have been killed in alleged confrontations with state forces during the past years,” it read. “There are reasonable grounds to believe that many of these killings constitute extrajudicial executions committed by the security forces, particularly FAES. OHCHR is concerned that the authorities may be using FAES, and possibly other security forces, as part of a policy of social control.”
The concept of the FAES forms part of a wider effort by the socialist regime to turn the country into a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, where opponents of the regime are routinely targeted for repression.
In her conclusions, Bachelet demanded that the regime “dissolve FAES and establish an impartial and independent national mechanism, with the support of the international community, to investigate extrajudicial executions during security operations, ensure accountability of perpetrators and redress for victims.”

REPUBLICAN OPPOSITION TO ANTISEMITISM IS A POLITICAL PLOY TO GLEAN MONEY FROM JEWISH DONORS, SAID REP. ELISSA SLOTKIN (D-MI) AT A “JEWISH DEMOCRATIC SUMMER CONFERENCE.”

There has been a lot of discussion for the past 9 months or so, 8 months, about, anti-Semitism. We have, what I believe is a full-on attempt by the Republican Party to grab a different community and bring them into the fold, and I will just be very honest, right, they are not looking for our votes, because we are a relatively small community, they are looking for our donors, right? They are looking for our donors, and they are trying to sway us.

“I think people feel the need to be very clear about what we mean by anti-Semitism, how it affects us, and that there’s just such a dramatic increase in anti-Semitism in events, in violent events, that we just feel the need to be vocal about it,” Slotkin told the Detroit News.
In May, Slotkin would not respond to a reporter’s question about “antisemitic tweets” from Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
Omar similarly framed Republican support for Israel as a function of Jewish political procurement. In February, she tweeted, “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby,” in response to Glenn Greenwald’s characterization of political leaders “defending a foreign nation [like Israel] as “stunning.”
J Street — a left-wing organization funded by George Soros’s Open Societies Foundations and marketing itself as both Jewish and pro-Israel — supports Slotkin. The Washington Free Beacon noted the origin of J Street’s support for Slotkin as her vocal support for the “Iran Nuclear Deal” arranged by the Obama administration.
The Republican Jewish Coalition addressed Slotkin’s remarks via a statement, saying:
Recordings have recently surfaced of Democrat Elissa Slotkin (MI-8) saying that Republicans don’t care about Jews, they only care about getting money from Jewish donors. Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks released the following statement:
Congresswoman Slotkin’s remarks are factually wrong and ugly. Slotkin thinks so little of our fellow Jews that she believes Republicans “are not looking for [Jewish] votes, because we are a relatively small community.” While Jews are a small community, they vote in far greater percentages than other ethnic groups. Jewish votes have tipped the scales in state and federal elections in key states, including Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Slotkin’s dismissive attitude towards our Jewish community is reflective of her party’s views, and is one of the reasons we see Jews moving to the Republican Party. In fact, Republicans continue to earn more and more votes from the Jewish community every election cycle and approximately one-third of Jews aged 18-30 support President Trump.
Congresswoman Slotkin should refrain from denigrating her fellow Jews by saying that they are only wanted for their money. She could do better for the Jewish community if she had the courage to stand up to the blatant anti-Semitism of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib in her own party.
In March, Slotkin accused President Donald Trump of pushing antisemitism:
Slotkin has not accused either Omar or Tlaib of advancing antisemitism.
