How the media treats Democrat corruption and scandals with nonchalant disinterest...Is it because Mr. Awan is a perfect Democrat?

A Newsbusters/MRC analysis showed that the three networks ignored a brewing scandal around a DNC staffer until Wednesday, when CBS covered it — for 37 seconds. (Image Source: MRC video screenshot.)

The mainstream media has shown absolute disinterest in an explosive story surrounding the arrest of a technician who worked for former Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz — except for 37 seconds.
According to an analysis by Newsbusters/Media Research Center, the big three networks completely ignored the story that had been developing on conservative news outlet Daily Caller.
Finally on Tuesday, CBS News broke the embargo and finally covered the story — for only 37 seconds.
Gail King spoke about the story on CBS “This Morning” Wednesday, and only touched upon the barest details, while crediting Politico and not the Daily Caller.
“Politico reports a former aide to Congresswoman Deborah Wassermann Schultz was arrested trying to leave the country,” King said. “37-year-old Imran Awan was detained at Washington Dulles International Airport on Monday.”
“He is accused of attempting to defraud the Congressional Federal Credit Union by taking out a home equity loan on a rental property. He allegedly tried to have those funds transferred to Pakistan. He pleaded not guilty yesterday. The office of congresswoman Wassermann Schultz fired him after the arrest,” she added.

The CBS report also contained a comment from Awan’s lawyer who said the allegations grew out of “anti-Muslim bigotry.”
Awan had access to the DNC’s servers, leading many to suspect that he might have been the source of the DNC leaks that could have cost Hillary Clinton the election.
