The charges stem from an Oct. 8 incident in the 5000 block of Riverdale Road.

Investigators wrote in the warrant affidavit that Colbert got into a verbal altercation with 25-year-old Delrico Beebe inside a store after Beebe complained about Colbert passing gas.

Following the argument, Colbert walked out to his vehicle, retrieved an AR-style pistol, and fired approximately 10 rounds at Beebe. Beebe was struck in the back and died from his injuries.

Colbert remained on the run until Oct. 24, when Atlanta Police SWAT officers located and arrested him inside an Atlanta home.
