Democrat Senator Prioritizes Illegal Aliens: They Are ‘Our North Star
Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) called for prioritizing criminal illegal migrants being held at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, New Jersey, calling them the Democrats’ “north star.”
“The detainees and their families need to be our North Star,” Kim wrote in a post on X. “We will fight to secure dignity for them because that’s who are in America.”
Other New Jersey Democrats, such as Reps. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Rob Menendez (D-NJ), have also called for prioritizing migrants’ needs above the needs of American citizens.
The New Jersey Democrats have also criticized President Donald Trump for stripping “any pathway to citizenship and belonging in America,” and have spoken about how they have tried to help detainees at Delaney Hall.
“When I visit Delaney Hall, the immigrants detained there always talk about how much they value the American dream,” Pallone wrote in a post on X. “They desire liberty and to return to work to provide for their families. They’re shocked that they can be stripped of due process and be put in a place like this — in what is supposed to be the land of the free.”
“Trump wants to strip any pathway to citizenship and belonging in America, and destroy the American dream,” Pallone added. “And he’s doing it in places like Delaney Hall.”
During an interview on MS NOW, Menendez explained how he spent a day and a half trying to help one illegal migrant.
“I went in about eight o’clock. At 10 o’clock after constant communication, ICE said they were not going to let me in, and I told them that’s a problem because I’m not leaving,” Menendez said. “So, I stayed there overnight. Eventually, the next morning, at 11:30, me and a couple other colleagues were allowed in. The first thing that ICE says to me, after having been there for fifteen hours, ‘Martin Soto’s not here.’ They moved him at two a.m. in the morning.”
In several posts on X, ICE shared photos of several of the people being held at Delaney Hall, including one person whose rap sheet includes battery, and another person whose rap sheet includes “manufacturing heroin/cocaine” and “possession of dangerous drugs.”
The Democrat lawmakers advocating for illegal aliens at the detention facility come after video footage posted to social media by independent journalist Nick Sortor on Saturday night, showed anti-ICE rioters setting fires in the street near the detention facility.
Law enforcement officials were later reported to have cleared Antifa protesters who were causing violence out of the area.
Breitbart News also reported on Friday that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin received a win after New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D) used local law enforcement to corral the anti-ICE protesters outside of the facility.
Breitbart News has reported that over the past few years, Democrat lawmakers have advocated for illegal migrants and mass immigration. In November 2022, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stated that the United States was “short of workers.”
“We have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to,” Schumer added at the time. “The only way we’re going to have a great future in America is if we welcome and embrace immigrants, the dreamers and all of them.”

Prosecutors: Charlotte hotel security team hired felons, and sold drugs, guns
Five face federal charges in drug trafficking and firearms violations following the probe by the FBI and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Security members of a Charlotte hotel, some with extensive criminal records and documentation as gang members, sold narcotics and firearms to investigating law enforcement officers, the U.S. Department of Justice says in a federal complaint.
Five people face federal charges in drug trafficking and firearms violations following the probe by the FBI and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, and 10 people total were arrested. A warrant has been issued for an 11th. The activity happened at the Garden Inn & Suites, commonly known as the Garden Inn, in the Sugar Creek corridor in northeastern Charlotte.
The hotel racked up, at a minimum, 57 arrests and 590 police calls in 29 months climaxing with a Wednesday morning raid.
“This hotel property has functioned as a stronghold for illicit activity, operating as a distribution hub for illegal firearms and narcotics,” said Chief Estella D. Patterson of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. “The data tells a stark, undeniable story: in 2025, CMPD officers responded to over 240 calls for service at this single location – a staggering, nearly 20% increase compared to the year prior. When local, state, and federal agencies align their power, we do not just disrupt criminal enterprises – we dismantle them.”
Six of those arrested are facing state charges for drugs and firearms.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office filed a civil forfeiture action against the Garden Inn. It says the property was a site for and facilitated significant illegal drug trafficking.
For six months, lawmen investigated. Prosecutors in the office of Russ Ferguson, the U.S. attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, say fentanyl, cocaine base, other narcotics and illegal firearms were distributed in and around the hotel.
In addition to the arrests since Wednesday’s raid, lawmen made 47 arrests while being called to the hotel 590 times between Jan. 1, 2024, and May 18 of this year.
“The hotel itself serves almost like a farmers market for drugs and guns,” Ferguson said. “There are multiple rooms on multiple levels where people are buying drugs and guns. And those innocent people living there were duped.”
The “duped” comment is a reference to Garden Inn advertising “24/7 security.”
Ferguson said hotel owner Jessica Woodard didn’t cooperate with local police wishing to view surveillance footage after a shooting on the property. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police met with Woodard to share concerns about her hired security, he said.
“They created the crime there instead of stopping it, and that’s why we filed our action today to seize the hotel,” Ferguson said. “If you’re working with the side of the criminals instead of the side of the police, we are going to use our federal asset forfeiture power to take your hotel.”
Criminal indictments unsealed include:
• Justin Lamont Day, 29, is charged with distribution of fentanyl, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
• Michael Boatwright, 37, of Charlotte, is charged with two counts of distribution of fentanyl.
• Marcus Logan, 39, of Gastonia, N.C., is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
• Naquan Smith, 43, of Charlotte, is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
Logan was the head of the security team.
Six others facing state charges are:
• Octavius Elmore, possession of a stolen firearm.
• Dameion Ikard, possession with the intent to sell or distribute marijuana and possession with the intent to sell and distribute cocaine.
• Nelson Lewis, possession of firearm by felon, possession of stolen firearm, possession with the intent to sell or distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to sell or distribute cocaine.
• Anthony Logan, possession of a firearm by felon, felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Krysti White, trafficking methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon.
• Destiny Ikard, simple possession of a scheduled II substance.

From the jump, we all know the E. Jean Carroll story smelled fishy. It was a very obvious political hit job against President Trump. And it came at a time when Dems were throwing everything they had at him to try and end his political aspirations for 2024.
Carroll accused President Trump of an alleged sexual assault from decades ago. She couldn’t remember the date, had no hard evidence, no eyewitnesses, and yet somehow became one of the left’s favorite anti-Trump weapons. The media treated her like a saint, and courts handed her massive judgments.
Dems and their media cohorts couldn’t be happier… they got another shiny “Trump is guilty” talking point.
But now the entire thing may be crashing down, and one particular video clip could be what destroys kooky Ms. Carroll.
The Department of Justice has reportedly opened a criminal investigation into Carroll. It all centers around whether she committed perjury during the civil lawsuits against President Trump.
The issue is all about her testimony… specifically about the funding of the case. She allegedly said no one besides herself was paying her legal fees, even though it later came out that a nonprofit backed by billionaire Dem donor (and Epstein Island fanboy) Reid Hoffman helped fund her entire case.
Hoffman is a major Democrat donor and a big-time Trump hater. Not to mention, he’s a very politically connected billionaire. Forbes reported back in 2023 that Hoffman helped fund Carroll’s case through a nonprofit called American Future Republic.
Billionaire LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman funded E. Jean Carroll’s prosecution alleging former President Donald Trump raped her, through a nonprofit group the major Democratic donor backs; now that a jury has found Trump guilty of sexual abuse, some have questioned Hoffman’s role in the process…
So now, the question is… did Ms. Carroll lie under oath? It would appear that way, but she’s reportedly claiming she “forgot.”
Because if she did lie, that means the woman who became a left-wing hero for taking Trump to court may now have a big fat legal problem of her own.
After all, the case funding is important. It goes right to the heart of credibility, motive, and whether the public was sold another lie.

The Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation into E. Jean Carroll, the former Elle magazine columnist who accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
The investigation is allegedly centered around whether Carroll committed perjury during her civil lawsuits against President Trump, after which she was awarded a $5 million judgment, the sources said.
So after all that celebrating by the left, Carroll may end up facing an actual criminal investigation instead of the clean victory lap she was promised.
But the real kicker here is that we’re supposed to believe that E. Jean Carroll forgot who “funded” her case just a couple of years ago but can fully remember some “altercation” that happened over three decades ago?
Doesn’t make sense.
But if this perjury thing sticks, the cherry on top of this sundae would be Trump forcing Carroll’s side to also pay all of his legal fees.
Which brings us to the video clip that should be the boomerang that knocks Ms. Carroll down.
And it’s all very straightforward: Carroll said in her deposition that no one else was paying her legal fees.
Simple.
But then Reid Hoffman later said on camera that he funded her case.
Of course, this changes the entire story. Clearly, these two conspirators didn’t get their stories straight ahead of time. Now, it seems Reid is finding out what happens when you hitch your wagon to crazy… things get chaotic and messy real fast.
And speaking of crazy…
E. Jean Carroll, who herself claimed to be a massive Trump fan 15 years ago, appears deranged and sick. She lives with rodents, names her cat Vagina, and her dog Tits. She writes stories about what her dog taught her about sex, claimed on live TV that rape was sexy, and paints trees blue.
Emails between her and her friend, who was also a key witness in the case, reveal her talking about her grand scheme to remove Trump from office. She was funded by a billionaire Democrat, benefited from changed laws specifically to prosecute Trump, and Carroll was the first person in the state to file under this new law. She won a case against Trump with zero evidence, no eyewitnesses, and in a trial where the judge refused to admit Trump’s evidence against Carroll, showcasing a politically motivated prosecution.
If you don’t see an issue with that, you are part of the problem.
The truth is, we all knew what this was the moment it hit the headlines. The lawfare machine was gassed up and ready to go the moment Ms. Carroll found her funding.
The left thought they had another perfect anti-Trump trophy. Instead, they may have a perjury investigation, a nervous billionaire donor in the background, and a woman whose courtroom victory could end in her being locked up.
President Trump has always fiercely denied Carroll’s allegations.
His supporters never bought the crazy story.
