How the left's Cloward-Piven strategy is fundamentally changing America

Drug Czar James W. Carroll: ‘More Drugs Are Coming in Than Ever Before’ Because of Political Diversions

Diverting border security resources to address the “humanitarian need” of migrants is leading to record-high levels of illicit drug smuggling across the U.S.-Mexico border, said James W. Carroll, director of the U.S. Office of Drug Control Policy, in a Thursday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Carroll said, “I couldn’t tell you how bad this is. Seizures are down, and it’s not because there are less drugs coming in. It’s because their attention has to be diverted because of the humanitarian need, but what that means is more drugs are coming in than ever before.”“Border patrol, their job is to protect us,” added Carroll. “That’s what they want to do, and they can’t do it because of what’s happening — because of the broken immigration system. We’re encouraging these people to come. Alex, you understand this; you’ve studied this issue. More people need to understand it. We’ve offered to bring members of Congress down there, and they didn’t show.”
Using federal resources meant for border security on “humanitarian” endeavors compromises the government’s ability to interdict drug smuggling, said Carroll. “That’s what these men and women want to do. They want to protect their families and their friends from these poisons coming in. That’s what we need to let them do. Fix the immigration system. Let them get back to protecting the U.S., and let us get back to the issue of saving lives.”
Drug cartels game the Border Patrol’s humanitarian policies by exhausting federal authorities’ resources to facilitate their drug-smuggling operations, explained Carroll.
“Border Patrol is stretched so thin that we have miles and miles of completely unprotected border where they can just bring the drugs in en masse,” noted Carroll. “Our Border Patrol is stretched so thin [that] they can’t do the mission they signed up to do, which is to protect our borders. We have to do the humanitarian thing. We understand that, but what happens is the drug cartels — they control the river on the Mexican side — will send the people [over the border] trying to sneak into the country. They’ll send them in one area, and then the Border Patrol, of course, has to go help them and do the humanitarian thing, but it leaves miles and miles completely open. And then the traffickers send the drugs over in an area where Border Patrol can’t do their job.”
Despite increased numbers of illicit drugs being smuggled across the border, overdose deaths decreased in 2018 relative to the previous year. It is the first such decline in nearly three decades.
“The president’s plan is working,” said Carroll. “This is the first time in 30 years that the number of Americans dying from a drug overdose has gone down [from one year to the next]. For 30 years, it has gone up. It has gone up under Obama. … The president said he wanted to reduce high-dose opioid prescriptions by one-third by the end of his term. We’re already there. We’ve already reduced that by 34 percent, while still making sure that people who have chronic pain can get their medication as they need it. Under this president, we’ve increased naloxone — this life-saving drug — by 500 percent, and we need to stop the flow of drugs. This is what happens when you focus on it. The president has. … We can’t declare success. There’s so much more to do.”
Carroll praised Breitbart News’s coverage of issues related to drug abuse and smuggling.
“Alex, thanks so much for bringing attention to this issue,” Carroll shared. “Everyone is really in debt to you for talking about this.”
“Wow, that’s really a lovely compliment, and we take it to heart,” replied Marlow. “We take a lot of pride in being able to identify the big threats to the country, and I’ll tell you, it’s not this ‘child separation’ of people coming up. This is an issue that is affecting countless lives, an incalculable amount, and we’ll continue to shed light on it.”

Cloward-Piven and the illegal immigration debacle.

Lawyer for accused Rockville rapist reveals why ICE did not deport his client

Lawyer for accused Rockville rapist reveals why ICE did not deport his client
Attorney Andrew Jezic said ICE released his client, Henry Sanchez-Milian, who is accused in a rape of a 14-year-old girl at Rockville (Md.) High School, because it does not have enough resources. "There's been so many people that have come through the border that are underage in the last year, so what happened is that immigration just doesn't have the resources to deal with all of these people coming in." (Image source: Inform screen cap)

Attorney Andrew Jezic told reporters on Friday morning that his client, Henry Sanchez-Milian, was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainment because ICE does not have enough resources to handle the influx of illegal immigrants pouring into the country.
In a story that has garnered national attention, Sanchez-Milian, 18, is accused of participating in the brutal rape of a 14-year-old girl in the bathroom of Rockville High School in Maryland. Both of the alleged rapists are illegal immigrants.
Sanchez came to the U.S. illegally from Guatemala in August and was stopped by federal authorities in Texas, but after spending 12 days in detainment, ICE made the decision to release him.
Lawyer for accused Rockville High School rapist says sex with 14-year-old girl was preplanned

“He was stopped at the border and detained by ICE. He was detained for 12 days, but then ICE made the discretionary decision to simply let him go. They put him on plane in Texas, and his father had to pay for the ticket. His father picked him up at BWI airport [in Baltimore, Md.], and he’s been in this country with the full awareness of ICE,” Jezic told WTTG.
“There’s been so many people that have come through the border that are underage in the last year, so what happened is that immigration just doesn’t have the resources to deal with all of these people coming in,” Jezic continued. “They detain them, they investigate them, they find out if there is any gang affiliation, they find if there’s any record in their home country, or any record here in the United States, or any family members that are dangerous. … If there’s none, they release them.”
Jezic explained that court hearings are delayed, and what used to be scheduled four months out is now taking anywhere from five months to a year, but that Sanchez will receive a court date and he will seek asylum as he flees his home country of Guatemala.
“We are going to aggressively assert a claim of asylum for this young man because he was fleeing gang violence and gang threats in his hometown,” Jezic said.
He also said Sanchez will plead not guilty because he claims the sexual encounter was consensual.
“This was a preplanned, consensual, non-forcible encounter. … There is evidence that will come out later I believe that this was a planned encounter with this young lady and at least one of these gentlemen,” Jezic said.
In the state of Maryland, in order for statutory rape to occur where consent is not a defense, the perpetrator must be at least four years older than the victim, to the day. The alleged victim in this case is three years and eight months younger than Sanchez.

America's Newest Christmas Tradition: Black Mob Violence at Malls

By Colin Flaherty

American has a new Christmas tradition: Black mob violence at malls.
In the days before, during, and after Christmas, 15 malls reported large-scale episodes of rioting, shooting, looting, rampaging, fighting, throwing rocks at police, damaging cars and more.
Two black people died.
A survey of the mayhem from around the country.

In Louisville, 2000 black people “rioted” at the Mall St. Matthews. In addition, shoppers report several gunshots. “Riots unfolded at Mall St. Matthews today,” reported WHAS TV news of the day after Christmas mob action. “That violence, beginning around 7, forcing mall officials to close early. It actually spread to multiple locations,” (outside the mall.)
“Why was this whole mayhem involving black kids,” asked one viewer of WHAS. “My wife and I were there plus vids show it.” The police spokesman said the violence was “random.”
In the Stonecrest Mall in a suburb of Atlanta, video from inside the mall shows a group of black people fighting and pulling each other’s hair. Soon after, the group of about 10-15 moved outside, where the video shows fighting, gunshots, and at least one person hitting the ground wounded, while the other participants shrieked with glee.
At the Orange Park Mall near Jacksonville, 200 black people had to be dispersed from a movie theater on Christmas Day. “100's of teens & young adults were at/outside movie theater at OP Mall when fights erupted,” said local reporter Tennikka Smith Hughes,
Eight black people were arrested, three for possession of concealed weapons.
“This happens every Christmas (in Jacksonville), first at River City, now Orange Park,” said one viewer, referring to a 2013 incident also on Christmas Day in Jacksonville, where 600 to 1000 black people stormed a movie theater and rampaged through the parking lot.”
At the Eastland Mall near Detroit, one black person was shot and killed after two groups of black people started fighting in the food court. The shooting took place as the violence moved towards the exit.
In Towson, Maryland, two hundred black people threw rocks at police trying to break up a large crowd at the local mall. Dozens of police responded, one was hit with a rock. On Twitter, TariqToure sent out the word of black victimization: “Tonight, dogs were sent out for black kids in “Baltimore Towson Mall.” He compared it to a Chicago shooting earlier that night.
Others said the riot was a long tradition in Towson and the result of black people in Baltimore not having enough free recreational opportunities, so they go to the mall and create havoc instead.
On Christmas night in Mobile, Alabama, four black people were shot at a movie theater.
At the Mall in Wellington Green in Wellington, Florida, police responded a large brawl at the shopping center the day before Christmas.
At the Park Plaza Mall in Little Rock, “a fight led to a large and rowdy crowd gathering in the food court,” said the ABC affiliate. 200 black people interfered as police tried to break up a fight. One person was arrested.
At the Southland Mall in Chicago, ten black people fought throughout the mall on video. No one died.
page1image28472 page1image28632 page1image28792 page1image28952 page1image29112
In a popular neighborhood shopping district in Chicago, the headline tells the story: “Ho Ho Hold Ups Galore: 4 robbed, 1 pistol- whipped during Christmas Eve armed robbery spree in Lakeview.”
Police are looking for four black suspects.
“The same crew is believed responsible for eight armed robberies on the North Side on Tuesday and Wednesday,” police told CWB Chicago.
Is that a mall? Or something else? We report. You decide.
At the North Riverside Park Mall, also in Chicago, “Fights Close Suburban Mall During After-Christmas Sale,” said the ABC affiliate. Readers of that scintillating best seller Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry, who are also members of the Chicago Police Department, said the rioters were black. And the mall has a history of black mob violence.
At least it did until 2013, when “North Riverside Park became the first shopping center in Illinois to implement what is known as a youth escort policy. It restricts anyone under 17 years old from entering the mall after six p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays unless they are accompanied by an adult over 21.”
After that, no more “teen fights.” At least until now.
At the Deptford Mall in South Jersey, police herded a crowd of 500 “teens” into the parking lot after they were creating mayhem in the mall. Police and mall officials were closemouthed about why they kicked so many shoppers out of their place of business. But NJ.com did report lots of violence in the parking lot, and mall employees said theft was a problem too.
Lots of people on Twitter and other social media figured it out: “Young niggas love coming to the deptford mall (not to shop) but to stand around and be hype.”
At the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island on the day after Christmas, a large fight in the food court caused large banging noises when chairs went flying. Shoppers panicked, thinking it was gunfire. It was not.
At the Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News, the Daily Press reports large groups of people fighting throughout the mall:
James Alford, a Cricket Wireless employee, said the mall was jam packed when the fights broke out. He said it felt like at least 20 smaller groups of people fighting, spanning from the food court, past his booth, which is about 100 feet away.
“There was running, jumping, skipping, everything,” he said.
A Kay Jewelers employee across from Alford's booth, whose supervisor did not allow him to give his name, said he saw scattered pairs of people throwing punches at each other. He said his store closed up for an hour during the incident.
Meg Gorski Albertson, a shopper, said she had “never experienced anything like this” left the mall when the fighting broke out, fearing someone would pull a gun.
“It was like riots,” a shopper told WAVY TV.
Video shows the combatants were black. The mall has a history of black mob violence throughout the year.

The day before Christmas in Charlotte, North Carolina, a gun battle between black people attracted the attention an off duty cop and security guard. He shot Dequan Westbrook, a local rapper known as Donkey Cartel, after Dequan pointed a gun at him.
Dequan’s mix tape is called Convicted Felon with a Gun, and features all the usual lyrics about killing people, selling drugs, and killing more people. Dequan’s parents told local T news he was a good boy and was going to college. Dequan had been arrested 10 times in the last three years, reported Channel 9 News. Last year, he was convicted of shooting a 12-year old, and his probation for that ended in October.
The violence and riots began the same day that a spokeswoman for Black Lives Matter appeared on CNN to say that black people are under constant threat from white racism and police harassment.
Safety for black people is “an illusion.” “Especially.” she said, “at airports.”

The Islamist attack on Christianity has begun in Germany.

L1070987
Media and political elites continue to spin the catastrophic invasion of Europe as some ‘humanitarian’ movement summarily ignoring the grave, terrible consequences of the hijrah (immigration jihad).
Only a handful of news sites (like this one) are reporting on the true nature of invasion, getting the real news from the true victims – the besieged Europeans, who almost overnight, are forced to live in a war zone.
One of my German readers tells me, “I just hung up the phone after speaking to a friend in Germany, – he lives in a small, very catholic town, Ellwangen, where I went to school for a few years, of about 12 000 people that had to accept 4 500 refugees at the fringes of town in former army barracks that had been vacant. The name of the barracks is Reinhardt Kaserne, I knew some of the ‘unpleasant’ things happening from reading online, talking to my mother, etc, but he is a ‘true local’ and from what he says, it must be much worse than any reports I read! He owns a small store in the center of town and ever since the arrival of the big masses this summer he has zero business because nobody wants to go to town anymore. What is far worse and underlines all that you have been writing about, the ‘refugees’ even go into churches to disrupt service. I had no idea! I have to say, this is a crime against the German people and culture committed by their own government…..”
Landeserstaufnahmestelle in Ellwangen

Here is what is happening. Read the whole thing.
Ellwangen is a small town in the eastern part of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The center of the town counts about 12000; not considering neighboring villages. It has very strong Christian, catholic and protestant, roots, and, not surprisingly, … it was one of the centers of the infamous German witch trials. It was a small, sleeply town proud of it’s churches and aware of its Christian past like any small town in Germany’s south where people speak dialect and pretty much everybody knows everybody.
L1080374
What’s been happening there, removed from the center of attention due to its geographical location, is that the former German army barracks that have been vacant and are located a little outside but in walking distance to center of town, has been occupied by refugees. When the big numbers started to stream into Germany this summer, the numbers in that LEA (Landeserstaufnahme – which means that’s the first landing for refugees where they will be registered and get shelter and live before they are distributed elsewhere) started to grow too. Originally, the intention and capacity was for 500 people. That number rose quickly to about 5000 plus/minus with serious mass brawls and conflicts police had to show up regularly to separate. There has been some resistance in the population, but the people standing up for themselves are called ‘nazis’. From the latest information that I read on the developments, people will be housed there permanently and the state government plans on spending 5.1 Million Euros to expand and renovate the place that is now supposed to accommodate about 3.500. It is hard to pinpoint any number; they seem to change or be different with every article I read.
numbers ellwangen, october
What has been happening to the town itself is not difficult to image. The reports I read speak of Muslims in the small streets of the town; I read about serious theft problems in stores where ‘refugees’ walk in, take what they want or need, and walk out again without paying. In the beginning, grocery stores called the police, but stopped doing so after they were told to write up the losses and contact someone at the local municipality to reimburse them. (I had a verbal confirmation from a wife of a German police officer … )
People in Ellwangen don’t leave their houses anymore and stay home unless they need to go out. Women don’t want to go out anymore, and that is not only in the evenings. People feel they are strangers in their own home town and feel uncomfortable. A couple of weeks ago, it became public that a woman had been raped at night on her way home; the police had withheld the report but said it was not because the crime may have been committed by ‘asylum seekers’ but not to hinder the investigation and to protect the victim. Apparently the rapist spoke in a foreign language with another men who was present during the attach. A 10 year old girl had also been sexually harassed, but thankfully, she reported it to her parents before anything physical and more serious happened. I read that the perpetrator in that case was Afghan and lived in town.
L1080375
A friend of mine owns a small store in the center of the town and, it not being a grocery store, his business has gone down to virtually zero, and if he didn’t have a second source of income, he would be in a serious financial trouble.
The most disturbing news he informed me about, however, was that the so called refugees go into churches to disrupt service. They would simply walk in and start to riot. ‘These people want to destroy us’, is what he said, literally. He is a very well educated business man; not someone inciting hatred against refugees. Most of the people living in that town and neighboring villages are honest, hard working people, trying to do good and be good, and now are forced to watch how their town and livelihoods are destroyed by the decision of the government to take in people that are violently opposed and opposite to the German and Christian culture. Most of these Germans have no interest in politics, and are law abiding citizens who are now faced with police cars driving any hour of the day due to incidents caused by ‘refugees’. I was told months ago that these refugees defecate in people’s gardens and that signs were written to explain not to do this in Germany and those refugees were asked to use toilets instead. Can you believe that? It blows my mind. …
I wasn’t surprised to read the mayor of the town has been threatened by some people from the local population, and has police protection; someone also put a dead cat on his doorstep. This is a rural area; that’s how it’s done there (one of the not so nice traditions). People are not as politically correct as in Berlin and have no interest in being it directly affected by the mess the Berlin government created in their lives. I am very worried about the situation in Germany. To the local government’s protection, I have to say that these poor mayors have pretty much no voice or say in the matter at this point, and there are mayors speaking up, … only to be called Nazi by the politically correct. It’s absurd.
In a separate report from yesterday, pepper spray is sold out across Germany. 5 weeks order backlog.
link here —
So it’s not only the Austrians thinking of self protection; there, shotguns have been virtually sold out because no license is needed to acquire these.
Actually, I have numbers from a few weeks ago from a facebook site protesting against the refugee center. It lists nationalities even though by now it will be outdated.
www.facebook.com/kein-asylheim-in-der-reinhardt-kaserne
The folks behind that facebook site are considered to be nazis … I don’t know anymore who is a Nazi in Germany these days and who isn’t. I personally have always been on the left side of the political scale, but I am also not afraid of calling a spade a spade, and what’s happening is just wrong and a crime, and if I am called a Nazi for speaking up, so be it. I don’t care as I know it isn’t true. I am following my conscience, and it is a crime not to speak up imo, especially for us women.
Peace! :-)

illegal nullification. Cloward-Piven the system has been overwhelmed. The cost the rule of law

When mobs overrule law society is in deep trouble.

More jails refuse to hold inmates for federal immigration authorities

Emboldened by recent court rulings, more and more counties and cities across the country are refusing to jail inmates extra days to give federal authorities time to deport them.
In most jails until recently, inmates booked on criminal charges and suspected of being in the country illegally were often held for an additional 48 hours at the behest of federal immigration officials.
These "holds" created a pipeline for the deportation of thousands of people from the United States in the last decade. Now, that enforcement tool is crumbling.
Although some localities started limiting the number of immigration holds a few years ago, the trend of completely ignoring the requests gathered steam this spring after a series of federal court rulings determined that the immigration holds are not mandatory and that local agencies should not be compelled to follow them.
"I think there's momentum," said Kate Desormeau, an American Civil Liberties Union staff attorney who has helped litigate immigration hold cases. "The more localities recognize that they don't have to do this — and that it doesn't make sense for them to do this — makes it easier for other localities sitting on the sidelines to say they're going to stop treating ICE detainers like warrants."
Currently, more than 225 local law enforcement agencies nationwide have adopted policies to completely ignore requests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials to hold an inmate for an additional 48 hours after his or her scheduled release date from jail. Another 25 agencies have limited the number of immigration requests they will honor. New York City is among those considering ways to stop or limit holds.
In reaction to the trend, ICE spokeswoman Leticia Zamarripa said in a statement that the agency will continue to work with local agencies "to enforce its priorities through the identification and removal of convicted criminals and other public safety threats."
In March, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Pennsylvania ruled that states and local law enforcement agencies had no obligation to comply with immigration hold requests because the requests did not amount to the probable cause required by the Constitution to keep someone in jail. Other courts have come to similar conclusions.
On Monday, another federal judge in Chicago reaffirmed that local law enforcement agencies should not consider the ICE holds mandatory.

In New Mexico, all county jails are no longer honoring immigration holds, said Grace Philips, general counsel for the New Mexico Assn. of Counties.
Some county officials stopped the practice because they were fearful of exposing themselves to expensive litigation, Philips said. Others saw it as a way of relieving their already overburdened jails, especially because the Department of Homeland Security did not reimburse localities for housing the inmates during the extended stay.
In the neighboring border state of Arizona, only South Tucson is declining to grant holds, also known as immigration detainers. In Texas, it appears that no locality stopped honoring hold requests, said Lena Graber, an attorney who tracks the issue for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in San Francisco.
In California, a state law implemented in January — the Trust Act — stipulates that law enforcement agencies can only honor immigration holds if the inmate who is suspected of being in the country illegally has been charged with, or convicted of, a serious offense. Also, most law enforcement agencies in the state — including the Los Angeles Police Department — adopted policies ignoring the immigration holds altogether after the federal rulings came down.
Colorado this year has become the first state to pass a law compelling local agencies to ignore immigration detainers.
In Bernalillo County, which includes Albuquerque and stopped honoring hold requests July 29, the debate over holds reflected warring viewpoints across the country.
County Commissioner Wayne A. Johnson said the policy change wasn't a "sound decision for the public," especially in light of a recent spike in Central Americans illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border during the summer.
"Not everyone crossing the border is here just looking for a better life for their family. We don't know who else is coming across the border," Johnson said.
Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins, who fought to reverse the policy, said the change does not pose a threat to the public.
"It's important to understand that every single individual who was subject to an ICE hold has been determined by the court to be eligible for release. They were not a threat to society," she said.
For instance, she said, an inmate arrested on suspicion of homicide would rarely be able to post bond — regardless of immigration status.
Hart Stebbins said the immigration holds ripped apart families by deporting loved ones after a hold was triggered for something as simple as a minor traffic stop.
Rachel LaZar, executive director of the immigrant rights group El Centro de Igualdad y Derechos (the Center for Equality and Rights), said the old policy undermined community policing because it led those in immigrant communities to distrust local law enforcement officials.
Regardless of the controversy the new policy has sparked in Bernalillo County, County Atty. Randy Autio said the motivation to change the policy was simple: The county had to follow the law — or face being sued.
"There is a natural tendency for folks to say, 'Wait a minute. If these are criminals, why would you not cooperate with ICE?'" Autio said. "We had to explain that it is simply that you cannot deprive someone of their constitutional rights for the convenience of another agency."

Mass illegal immigration as seen by the homeless in L.A.

Garcetti Convening With Nonprofits To Shelter Undocumented Children In LA

".....
“Before you get partisan, before you tell me where you are on immigration, these are children. As a father, who are we as Americans if we do not step forward first?” Garcetti asked, noting, “I see this as not just a moral issue but as a practical one.”
Homeless activist Ted Hayes, who has lived in L.A. for three decades, opposes the idea, insisting there are American kids on city streets who need help first.
“It’s kind of a slap in the face to U.S. citizens,” Hayes said. “It’s embarrassing. It’s hurtful. Because it’s like a father saying that he loves children outside of the family more than he loves his own.”
“We feel for them,” Hayes continued. “We feel their pain. But we are feeling pain of our own children first.”
Garcetti’s office says he has convened with a group of nonprofits that could take the children in while they await their hearings. The mayor also says no city resources would be used in the event the children are moved to L.A.
“These kids who are isolated, alone. Maybe are doing the right thing, maybe have made mistakes. Forget all that first,” Garcetti said. “Let’s get them some place safe and secure. Let’s get them legal representation, which is what this country has always stood for.”
A timetable has not been set.

"Border most porous ever." Pelosi,Reid,Obama lied to you on this as well.

BORDER PATROL UNION OFFICIAL: BORDER 'MOST POROUS THAT IT’S EVER BEEN,' FED NUMBERS INACCURATE

National Border Patrol Council Vice President Chris Cabrera said the U.S. border is the “most porous that it’s ever been,” and detailed the lack of transparency and intimidation of whistle-blowers by the Border Patrol in an interview on Laura Ingraham's radio show on Wednesday.

Cabrera added that “we’re having a lot of people get through on our flanks that we control because of lack of manpower,” and the apprehension success rate is much lower than reported “the number out there before has been that the border is secure that we’re at 80 percent or 90 percent success rate in apprehensions when it actuality we’re lucky to get into the 30s.”

He also stated that “the Border Patrol, historically, has been good at hiding the true number of people that get away.”

Cabrera added the federal government has been “keeping us in the dark,” and ignoring concerns of agents on the ground as “for the last month we’ve been warning them that we were getting overrun and nobody seems to take note up on the DHS level.” Also, he says “the Border Patrol has done a lot to intimidate agents from speaking out."

Additionally, he reported “we have had people in the past claim to from OTM [other than Mexican] countries when they’re actually Mexican nationals” to avoid being sent back, and process for determining an individual’s country of origin is uncertain.

The Federal government is at war with the people. The essential Cloward-Piven overload the system attack.

Feds shipping hundreds of immigrant kids to Arizona

The federal government on Friday began sending hundreds of unaccompanied children caught crossing the border illegally in Texas to a holding center in Nogales, Ariz., further straining relations with Gov. Jan Brewer, who was already angry over the recent release of hundreds of undocumented families at bus stations in Phoenix and Tucson.
Brewer said she learned Friday that 432 children were transported to a holding facility in Nogales and that an additional 732 children would be brought there today and Sunday.
"I am disturbed and outraged that President Obama's administration continues to implement this dangerous and inhumane policy," Brewer said in a written statement.

Brewer's spokesman, Andrew Wilder, told the Associated Press that conditions at the holding facility in Nogales are so dire that the state is releasing federal medical and other supplies to the facility.
A regional director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency was also being sent to Arizona to help manage the crisis, Wilder told the AP.
The Border Patrol has been overwhelmed by a surge of undocumented immigrants crossing the border illegally in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, including nearly 50,000 children traveling on their own, the AP reported.
The federal government plans to use the facility in Nogales as a way station, where the children will be vaccinated and checked medically. They will then be flown to facilities being set up in Ventura, Calif., San Antonio and Fort Sill, Okla., the AP said.
In her statement, Brewer demanded that President Barack Obama's administration immediately stop transferring migrants caught in Texas to Arizona.
The transfer of hundreds of unaccompanied children from Texas to Arizona comes after the Department of Homeland Security began flying hundreds of undocumented families, mostly women and children, to Tucson over the Memorial Day weekend.
DHS officials said the families were shipped here because the Border Patrol did not have the manpower or detention space to process a surge in undocumented immigrants from Central America apprehended in Texas.
After being processed by the Border Patrol in Tucson, the DHS began releasing the families on humanitarian parole and dropping them off at Greyhound bus stations in Phoenix and Tucson with instructions to report to an ICE office once they reached their destinations in other cities.
The practice drew criticism from human-rights groups concerned about the migrants' well-being. Dozens of volunteers began showing up at the bus stations to provide the families with water, food, medicine and other necessities after their release.
The release also prompted several Arizona Republicans, including Brewer and Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake, to demand that Obama and the DHS explain why the migrants were being sent to Arizona and released.
Federal officials said Friday that no migrant families were scheduled to be flown to Arizona this weekend, but the transfers could resume in the future if the Border Patrol in Texas continues to be overwhelmed.
DHS officials also said Friday that the Border Patrol's El Paso Sector is assisting with the processing of migrants apprehended in Texas and then turning them over to ICE to determine whether they will be held or released on a case-by-case basis.
In the past, undocumented immigrants from Central America have been held in detention facilities and then flown back to their countries. But the arrival of thousands of families and children traveling on their own created new challenges for the DHS because ICE has only one detention center for holding families, in Pennsylvania.
DHS officials noted that the migrants being released will be kept under supervision and are still subject to deportation.
Brewer said Friday that she is still waiting for the Obama administration to explain why migrants are being sent to Arizona. She also blamed the federal government for creating the crisis by releasing migrants and not doing enough to secure the border.
"Not only does the federal government have no plan to stop this disgraceful policy, it also has no plan to deal with the endless waves of illegal aliens once they are released here," Brewer said in her statement.
