The crazed woman accused of a stabbing spree at a Queens boarding house for “tourist babies” — cutting three newborns and two adults before trying to kill herself — has been charged in connection with the bloody rampage, cops said on Saturday.
Yu Fen Wang, 52, so far is facing five counts of attempted murder, police said.
Weng allegedly went berserk around 3:40 a.m. Friday at the three-story home on 161st Street between 45th and 43rd avenues in Flushing, attacking a 63-year-old colleague and a 31-year-old man and three infant girls — a 3-day-old, a 2-week-old and a 1-month-old.
The injured man, who was struck in the ankle, is the father of one of those babies, and the injured colleague suffered wounds to her torso, police said.
A fourth baby, a 3-week old girl, suffered a fractured skull, cops said. Her parents rushed her to the hospital before cops arrived. Cops were investigating Saturday morning whether the infant was injured as a result of the stabbing or by another means.
Wang, who sources said has psychological problems, then fled to the basement of the brick home on 161st Street and slit her left wrist.
Police discovered her unconscious and used a tourniquet to stem her bleeding. They found a butcher knife and meat cleaver at the scene.
She remained in custody Saturday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where she was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
