Ron Johnson Gets FBI to Admit That No Firearms Were Seized During the Capitol Riot
We know this shameful bullshit was spread by alleged conservatives and never retracted
Along with the library of false narratives that the press and the Democrats tried to create and push into the national consciousness, there is the persistent description of the riot as an “armed insurrection.” As Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson has said on numerous occasions, if this was an insurrection, it was the most incompetent insurrections in the history of insurrections. Townhall’s Kurt Schlichter covers that perfectly in Stop Calling It an ‘Insurrection.’ While the FBI has kept us breathlessly up to date with their arrest of 2, or 3, or 4, or whatever-hundred demonstrators who at some point passed through the US Capitol, the one thing missing has been anyone charged with a federal firearms violation. For “armed insurrection” to have any meaning, arms need to be involved.
At today’s hearing on the events of January 6, Senator Johnson got a chance to ask that question of FBI assistant director for counterterrorism Jill Sanborn.
JOHNSON: How many firearms were confiscated in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds that day?
SANBORN: To my knowledge we have not recovered any on that day from any other arrests at the scene at this point.
JOHNSON: Nobody has been charged with an actual firearm weapon in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds?
SANBORN: Correct.
JOHNSON: How many shots were fired?
SANBORN: I believe the only shots fired were the ones that resulted in the death of the one lady.
What Waller is referring to, in addition to Sanborn’s testimony, is an article he published that I covered in New Information About the Capitol Riot Demolishes the Media Narrative and Asks Questions That Need To Be Answered.
One by one, the fables spun by the media and their Democrat masters are being shown false. Quelle surprise.
